One key to our strategy at HX Trader is that we look to buy stocks with weakness.   

We want to find good companies that have been good stocks and wait for them to stumble. We then dig in and figure out if we think the stock will recover. 

There are many reasons a good stock could stumble. 

It could result from something they said when reporting earnings or financial guidance. 

It could be the result of something a competitor company announced. 

Historically, though, one of the most profitable situations is when the government investigates a company! 

Yes, you read that correctly. 

When a government agency investigates a company and hits the stock in the right situation, it can present some of the best trading opportunities. The key is to do the work and see if it is one of the "right" situations.
